FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
How long will my tree last?
There is no guarantee — and anyone who does guarantee a specific timeframe is scamming you. What we do provide are detailed care instructions that give your tree the best chance of lasting as long as possible. At Connor’s Christmas Trees, we put more effort into tree care than most lots. We constantly water, run misters, keep trees in the shade, and remove any drying ones right away. We give your tree the very best conditions to thrive once it’s in your home.
Will the stand scratch or mess up my floor?
We always recommend placing a towel under the stand’s bowl to catch any extra water. That said, our stands are designed with rubber tips on the ends of the rebar legs to prevent scratches. If you choose delivery, our team is trained to bring your tree inside, set it up, and leave you with no scratches or mess.
Is my bowl leaking?
It is possible — mistakes do happen. But in our experience, most people think the bowl is leaking when, in reality, water was poured outside the bowl during watering. To double-check, run your hand along the bottom of the bowl. If water is dripping directly from the stand, you may have a leak. If not, it’s more likely a spill. Either way, laying down a towel is always a smart idea. If you do have a true leak, call us — we’ll replace your stand and bowl ASAP.
How do I take the stand off?
It’s simple: just turn the stand counterclockwise and it will unscrew, like a piece of hardware. Once your season is over, make sure to dispose of your tree safely — either outside for pickup or at a local fire department. Dry trees can become a fire hazard. Keep your stand and bring it back next year to reuse or replace
Can I replant my tree at the end of the year?
Honestly… I don’t know! My gut says no, but you’re welcome to try. If you succeed, I’ll happily congratulate you and share your story on our Instagram. Merry Christmas!
